I know how the world should be: perfect and orderly. I know that for a task to be done correctly, I must do it. I shall not make a mistake even if I have to do it over and over. I am focused and committed. Most people are untidy and untrustworthy. I cannot depend on them. Likewise, my stuff is worthy. My stuff stays in its place. I just don’t have enough of it. I never throw anything away even if it is old or out of style. I know that you understand the truth as I do. If you don’t, I will tell it to you again.
Hattie Mae:
There aren’t shades of gray in her black and white universe. She will never stop trying to get you to dance to her drumbeat. She sure hates it when the grandkids come to visit her in her home.
