Yes it is true; it is I listed as a person of interest by the local Animal Control Unit as reported in the National Inquirer.  I am also by the way, outraged by the use of the term animal control.  You certainly don’t hear us dogs talking about a human control unit.  But again, some times I think we should.

 

But back to the point, to set the record straight and redirect the misguided, malicious, media fueled public attention to where it belongs, I have been peacefully protesting the killing of my brothers and sisters who are down on their luck due to no fault of their own.  I have been picketing the Gas Chamber at the local pound by circling the block with a sign “Murderers you will be judged!”  I admit it’s strong, but so are my convictions.  Periodically I will pull a wagon with a friend in it, he has two artificial legs, his sign says,  “Please report all dog hit and run accidents.”  Sometimes we will bring along a megaphone and howl a hurt howl over and over again.  The human staff really doesn’t like that.  I love to see them grit their teeth.  They want everything quiet and peaceful, but not me. 

 

Then a couple of days ago, someone switched the gas pipe from the killing chamber in the back to the front office.  Pardon the pun, but it caused a big stink in more ways than one.  No one was hurt, but I was snatched from my toil, along with my little peg legged friend, and interrogated for hours with no food or water or ability to go to the bathroom.  They had no evidence, none.  No video, no witnesses, and no paw prints.  But they named me a person of interest, put a restraining order on me, told me I couldn’t go in the cafeteria to get a drink of water, and leaked to the tabloid press a slanted story. 

 

That’s the truth as I see it, the long and short of it.  I am proud of what I’ve done, regardless of whether I’ve done it or not.  I will press on, I will press on.  I value and accept your support, I will get in your face if you oppose me and if you have no opinion on this issue, you are not worth my attention.
